I've been hearing about Camospace for awhile but had never even looked at it until recently when Mel wrote that he'd joined. I myself finally joined last week, probably around the same time Deer Passion signed up.
Since then, I've been fielding tons of "friend requests" from other members. Like most things involving the Internet and computers, Camospace confuses the heck out of me. Every time I take on something new, my head spins a little faster when I open my laptop.
It does, however, look like Camospace could be fun once you get the hang of it. If nothing else, it's a great way to see just how many people out there have outdoors-related businesses they're trying to promote. Take a look at my Camospace "friends" and then go look at their friend lists, which sometimes number in the thousands.
Some of the people you see and what they're promoting will surprise you. Just be careful, it can get addicting...

It's very addictive, but so much fun!! So glad you joined!!!

I had no idea such a thing existed. I'm still fighting Facebook, which everyone else I know has joined.

Congratulations Matt on joining CamoSpace. It is addicting to meet so many people who are interested in supporting the outdoors in one way or another. I will head on over to your CamoSpace site and say hello.
Thanks for the link to my post on my blog.

I have a camospace, and a myspace account, but I honestly don't spend much time on them. They are almost cult like to me:):)

I'm on CamoSpace, but I'm so bad about keeping that sort of stuff up. I need to get better about it, but there's only so much time in a day.

I went to the site pretty cool but after the space part it runs down hill I found a site were you can build a page and you also have forums chat rooms news and articles on hunting and fishing it was a little better in my opinion www.gohuntingandfishing.com

Hi, I am definitely biased. Here's a few reasons I like camospace:
camospace has over 30,000 plus members who share similar interests. The biggest names in the hunting/outdoor industry have profiles on their and stay active. Lots of contests and giveways.

Have you seen this site yet? We have recently launched our outdoor social networking site, but with more of a focus on our members stories. Our members stories appear on the home page as soon as they are published, and we have monthly contests for the best hunting or fishing story. Come check us out at http://www.mybuckstory.com!
